Joan Pedragosa (Badalona 1930 - Barcelona 2005) was a well-known graphic designer who, starting out with three-dimensional figures in cardboard, mobiles and other small sculptural pieces, gradually moved into the world of large format sculpture in hard materials, to which he devoted the last years of his life.

This exhibition is the first one that Badalona, his native city, has devoted to him. Though focussing on his sculpture, it also includes many of Joan Pedragosa’s designs and makes it possible to follow the course of the career of this painstaking artist and lover of geometry, which only he knew so well how to put at the service of expression.
