The Vila Casas Foundation incorporates into its collection a set of sculptures by Joan Pedragosa. On March 25th, the Volart Space hosted the donation ceremony of a set of sculptures by the graphic designer and sculptor Joan Pedragosa (Badalona, 1930 - Barcelona, 2005) that the artist's partner and owner of the works, Beta Albuixech, have made to the Vila Casas Foundation.

The group of works consists of 53 prototypes, 5 small-format sculptures and a monumental work entitled Beta, which can be seen in the “Beta & Co” exhibition at the Can Mario Museum in Palafrugell from June 5th to July 4th, 2021 .

By incorporating these works into the collection and holding the exhibition, the Vila Casas Foundation wants to reclaim the sculptural aspect of the creator, as well as recover his career by making his work available to the general public.
